• Retired.
• Using Claude Code to work on pet projects. Some apps, but mostly shell scripts to simplify an occasional life admin tasks. I’m taking a little break from my recent coding projects (See [Posts]).

Back Burner#

• Creating this voidstar.org site. Slowly.

Life#

• Both kids are home from college for the summer and will leave us in Sept. The nest is already feeling a bit more empty.
• Pampering our standard poodle.
• I exercise regularly, though not enough. Unlike my younger years, I’m succeeded more than failing. Though just barely. Also, age brings with it one more challenge: minor exercise injuries happen more often and heal more slowly!

Reading/Listening/Viewing#

• Always looking for more good Sci-fi. Libby brings me gems from my local library once in a while.
• Dungeon Crawler Carl. Such a fun ride. (I discovered the books late, and I’m binging them one after another. Almost caught up, so I’ll need another series soon!)
• Podcasts in regular rotation: The Vergecast, MBMBaM, The Adventure Zone, What Went Wrong, 20,000 Hz.
